Why I Want to Serve on the Cazenovia Village Board of Trustees

I want to see Cazenovia grow and prosper. At the same time, I want to promote and enhance all that is special about it.

Can we have it both ways? You bet we can. It takes vision – and the willingness to work hard to make that vision a reality. Cazenovia residents deserve more leaders who will listen and make informed decisions. These choices will determine what kind of village we will be in the years ahead. We need to be creative and innovative. This is the leadership philosophy that I hope to bring to the Village Board.

I grew up in Cazenovia and I want my kids to grow up here too. Several years ago, my wife, Lisa, and I moved back here after stints in New England, the Midwest, and the New York City area. In each of these places, we tried unsuccessfully to find the sense of community and natural beauty that distinguish Cazenovia. Ultimately, we returned here because we want to be a part of this community and believe in its bright future.

All of us have enormous opportunities to shape that future. Many important decisions are being made now about the Cazenovia of tomorrow. I want to make sure that we follow the will of the majority of local residents who believe that we can do better than other communities have in facing growth and development challenges.

I believe my experience as a businessman and my involvement in local community organizations make me strongly qualified to serve as a Village Trustee.

It’s all about vision, hard work, and keeping a steady focus on the special place that we all know Cazenovia is and can be.
