Russ grew up in Cazenovia and – after graduating from Cazenovia High School – went off to college and work. He returned four years ago with his wife, Lisa, to raise their four sons in this community.

Russ is a successful businessman who understands what it takes to make a business prosper. He is well-versed in public finance as well as personnel and program management.

Active in our community, Russ serves on the Cazenovia Village Comprehensive Planning Update Advisory Committee as well as on the Lorenzo Board of Trustees. He also is a member of the Cazenovia Preservation Foundation. In the past, Russ served on the Cazenovia College and Village’s joint Town/Gown Exploratory Committee.

Russ is for:

• Focusing and encouraging the development of area that needs it most – our historic downtown business district
  
• Conserving and preserving existing buildings as well as promoting the use of Village property currently zoned for commerce.
  
• Preserving our rural character, open space, and historic charm.
  
• Protecting our environment, water supply, and natural resources.
  
• Consolidating resources among governmental entities (County, Town, and Village) to create savings and efficiencies when it makes sense.
